Eztia's cooling material, HydraVolt™, achieves a modulated temperature curve that is effective and safe. While HydraVolt™ itself is not ice-cold to touch, it draws heat away from your body upon skin contact. Eztia's HydraVolt™ gel reduces your skin temperature as much as a regular ice pack would for the first 30 minutes to relieve pain and heat strain. This is followed by a less intense degree of cooling for the next 6 hours to provide long-lasting comfort without compromising circulation to your skin.
